Here at Peabody, we're getting excited about reading thanks to Star Wars Reads Day, which will be celebrated nationally on Saturday, October 10, 2015 and throughout the month at our school. In addition to book displays encouraging children to read and an origami how-to station, Peabody students are racing to read! Participating teachers have given classes a reading log. Students will log how many minutes they're reading outside of school. They can be read to, read with, or read independently. At the end of the month, we will tally up the minutes to see which classes from each grade level are the winners.
